Kayla Schippers and Kellen Wilhelm were married Sept. 13, 2008, at St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church, Hays, with Father Darryl Olmstead officiating.

Parents of the couple are Charlie and Joan Schippers, Hays, and Dale and Glenda Wilhelm, Seneca.

Grandparents of the couple are Mike and Mary Schamberger, Hoxie, George Schippers, Hays, and the late Lillian Schippers.

Honor attendants were Jenna Schippers and Ashleigh Dyck.

Attendants were Sara Wilhelm, Julie Lueger, Mallory Aiello and Sasha Schippers.

Best men were Glendon Wilhelm and Brent Wilhelm. Groomsmen were Tim Dalinghaus, Alex Hammes, Bradley Schippers and Moose Frehe.

Flower girls were Kinley Wilhelm and Aleah Schippers. Ringbearers were Gavin Wilhelm and Parker Wilhelm

Ushers were Peyton Wilhelm, Kyle Stadalman, Matt Lueger and Justin Lueger.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Hays High School, a 2005 graduate of University of Kansas and plans to graduate from KU Medical Center in May with a doctorate of physical therapy.

The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Nehama Valley High School and Johnson County Community College in 2004. He is employed at Davin Electric, Topeka.

Following a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the newlyweds are at home in Eudora.
