I am writing in response to the lady that was "shocked" and "troubled" (Reader Forum, Nov. 2) by my piece in the Reader Forum titled "A Stranger Over Thee." I rechecked my King James Bible and sure enough, Deuteronomy 17:14-15 is still there and it is written, "thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother."
It never ceases to amaze me how people can twist and distort things from what was in fact, written. The implication was that my article "bordered on white supremacy." I checked my Sixth Edition Black's Law Dictionary and could not find such a term anywhere, and it also was not in my 1828 Webster's, so I assume the lady must have her own self-proclaimed definition of such. If the Forum readers would check back and reread my article, they would find that "terrible" word "white" was not used by me, and neither was there any indication of "supremacy." The lady completely sidestepped and conveniently danced around the verse quoted in typical Obama style and went on to say "Most of us realize that there is nothing about Christianity, or the Christian God, that promotes one race over another." Again, my article did not state anything about "promoting one race over another." The "troubled" lady is only "troubling" herself by reading something into my article that I did not say. Besides that, the command was given by almighty God and not by me.
Now, I checked my Strong's Exhaustive Concordance and referenced the word "above" and found the Lord speaking to the Israel people in Deuteronomy 7:6; "For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth." Deuteronomy 10:15; "Only the Lord had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them even you, above all people, as it is this day." Deuteronomy 14:2; "For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations ..." Deuteronomy 26:19; "And to make thee high above all the nations ..." Friends, as I said in my original letter, I would much rather be "scripturally correct" than "politically correct" as the "troubled lady" would have us to be. As you can see, the Lord has set a people called Israel "above" other peoples and nations.
Now, lets get right to the crux of the Caucasian Israelite idea that I brought up. After having diligently studied the Bible for 26 years, I simply believe the Anglo-Saxon (Isaacs-sons), Scandinavian, Germanic, Celtic and related European Caucasian people are the descendants of the lost tribes of Israel and no, I am not "Jewish" nor have I ever been. The Bible makes a distinct difference between the house of Israel and the house of Judah. In fact, if the readers would again check their Bibles they would find in Jeremiah 31:31 and Hebrews 8:8; "Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah ..."
Dear friends in Christ, where do you find more "born again Christians", than in this "great and mighty nation" of America that declares ourselves to be "one nation under God"? Remember in my original letter, I mentioned 2 Samuel 7:10, which I did not quote but now will: "Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more."
The Israelites were in the old promised land at the time, so it stands to reason to me, there must be an "appointed place" somewhere other than old Canaan land. Friends, the scriptures are loaded with identifying marks as to what Israel was to become and do including being "witnesses" and "servants." Isaiah 43:10; "Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he; before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me."
Friends, be honest, you can search the world over and find no people other than the Caucasian people that have published more Bibles and sent more missionaries to do God's servant work. There are many, many, more identifying marks that confirm my belief.
I invite anyone, and everyone, including the "troubled lady" to further Bible study. The precious blood of Jesus Christ "sealed" the New Covenant and perhaps that is a good place to end, for surely we all agree upon that fact.
Larry Lundgren
Gove
What Larry fails to realize is that the New Testament brought about a New Law. The Catholic Church was established to carry out this law and the Epiphany was the particular moment that all gentiles would be allowed through this New Law to be accepted into the fold of God and race is certainly irrelevant to destiny at this point. All become equal in the gift of grace. He should be reading the Douay Rheims bible which is an accurate translation, but I'm willing to bet he would rely on his own interpretation of this bible as well which is unfortunate. Lay theologians have destroyed Christianity since the protestant revolution. (Beware of false prophets)

Since obviously Mr. Lundgren believes we all need to interpret Deuteronomy in the King James version of the Bible literally, then we as a country have a lot more work to do than simply watching out for "strangers" that may be "over thee". First, we need to get to work murdering all women who lie about their virginity by stoning them to death.... "If tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father's house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you." Deuteronomy 22:20-21 We also need to get to work changing our current rape laws.... "If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city. But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die for he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her. If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days." Deuteronomy 22:23-29 While we are on the subject of Deuteronomy, we also need to let all children born out of wedlock know that they are all going to hell (well, at least until 10 generations pass). Sorry. As is any man who has had his "privy member" cut off. Ouch! "A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD." Deuteronomy 23:2 "He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD." Deuteronomy 23:1 Hey, don't look at me. Just like Mr. Lundgren claims, these aren't my commands. They are those of almighty God. Right? I will end by "inviting" Mr. Lundgren to study my own personal favorite Bible verse.... "And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by others. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." Matt. 6:5-6

I'm confused. I thought that Jesus was from the Middle East so I'm pretty sure that would mean that Jesus was not caucasian. Also Jesus was Jewish. He also was not from America. America was only created a little over 200 years ago. When the Bible was written, it didn't exist. God actually put Native American's here first and then the white people brutally took it over. So maybe it is the Native Americans that God meant in the Bible. According to your theory, it seems that God actually does not favor people who are like Jesus.
