Change from the left
Change from the left
Seriously, that Obama is a reformer and change agent who will fix Washington is a joke. There is nothing in his background that suggests as much. He is just another politician who settles for the status quo most of the time and votes the far left Democrat ticket on virtually every issue.
Take for example when he met with Chicago high school students who claimed that teachers had such a short work day (leaving school at 1:30 p.m. daily) they were not being prepared to go to college. A perfect opportunity to initiate change instead he turned his back on students and settled for the status quo in order not to upset the teacher's union that gives him money to run for office.
He made no significant changes as a Chicago community organizer. In fact, as friends with convicted Rezko the slumlord whom he supported, the housing improvement for poor blacks deteriorated rather than improved under Rezko's illegal dealings and Obama's efforts to get Rezko more public projects. Where's the positive change?
When the U.S. Attorney General's office came to Chicago to clean it up, a corrupt machinery of which Obama is part of, he threw his support to corrupt Mayor Daly. How is that fixing anything? Obama went for the status quo as he does with most things. A chance to change things but Obama wouldn't do it.
Oops! I found something Obama will change dramatically. It's called the Freedom of Choice Act of wholesale and unrestricted abortions. He plans to mandate federal legislation that forces states to eliminate any restrictions on abortions such as notifying parents in the case of a minor's abortion. That would also include unrestricted taxpayer funding for abortions. Obama, obviously, is the most pro abortionist presidential candidate this country has ever had. Is that who mainstream moderate Dems want in the White House?
Oops again! Through the Global Poverty Act, Obama is spearheading a bill to let the corrupt United Nations tax us at the tune of billions for global poverty. The problem is giving up national sovereignty to the UN known for using monies without any accountability of actually helping poor nations. Is that the kind of change voters want?
How do these Obama agendas make for positive change in this country: 1) raising taxes on everybody, especially the rich, that will put many out of work? 2) giving illegals amnesty that will cost taxpayers even more in welfare, education and health costs? 3) leaving Iraq prematurely before that country is secured? 4) not drilling for oil that hurts poor people more than any other group? 5) going overboard on man made global warming that is a hoax. 6) eliminating the Defense of Marriage Act in order to permit same sex marriage? 7) exorbitant spending on all kinds of handouts to buy votes that dramatically increases our national debt? 8) not doing a darn thing about pork barrel spending? 9) reducing nuclear and other military spending that is essential to protecting this country? 10) appointing liberal judges to the Supreme Court who invent such things as "privacy" in legalizing abortion when there is nothing in our Constitution that says abortion is a private matter? 11) looking to the corrupt United Nations for direction that votes against American interests 75 percent of the time, and, 12) more socialism and less free market capitalism?
Is a radical, left-wing, most-liberal-voting senator by the name of Barack Obama what mainstream moderate Democrats want for their president? Liberals, of course, but what about moderates?

The Global Poverty Act, supported by Obama and Biden would allow the UN to impose taxes on the USA. The bill would allow sanctions against the USA if we don't pay .07% of our GDP to the UN. Obama clearly wants to relinquish our sovereignty to foreigners. Look it up.

Mr. Knoll, I am not sure why you write when you do not follow up any of your comments with any kind of debate, dialogue or proof? I asked why you made some racist comments in an article several weeks ago. In this day and age, it can be difficult to defend one's own racial bigotry, but I honestly would appreciate a response. Then perhaps we can move on to all the spin and distortions in your above post about Barack Obama. :) Respectfully, Ryan
