Eva I. Wendel
Eva I. Wendel, 82, Norton, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, at Andbe Home, Norton.
She was born Sept. 28, 1925, in Norton to Clem and Hazel (Lambert) Alexander. She attended the local school in Norton.
She married Elton Rex Wendel on Aug. 3, 1946, in Sabetha. He preceded her in death on July 16, 2004. She was a cook at the Norton State Hospital.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Wendel, Kearney, Neb., and Robert Wendel, Fairfield, Neb.; a sister, Ila DeYoung, Pharr, Texas; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Norton Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice Services of Norton County in care of Enfield Funeral Home, Norton.
