Donald LeRoy Smith Sr.
Donald LeRoy Smith Sr., 83, Selden, died Monday, July 21, 2008.
He was born Feb. 1, 1925, in Haigler, Neb. He was a farmer and truck driver.
Survivors include a son, Donald Smith Jr., St. Joseph, Mo.; two daughters, Carolyn Lobato, Selden, and Barbara Jarvis, Gulfport, Miss.; four sisters, Goldie, Alt, Colo., Norma, Ogallala, Neb., Lois, Washington, and Audrey, Julesburg, Colo.; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine on March 10, 1984, and a son, Rodney.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. in Rexford Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Memorials are suggested to Donald Smith Sr. Memorial Fund in care of Pauls Funeral Home, Selden.
