Ruby Grace Pfortmiller

Ruby Grace (Zeigler) Pfortmiller, 94, Victoria, formerly of Natoma, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, at St. John's Nursing Center, Victoria.

She was born Oct. 17, 1914, in Codell to John Wade and Sylva Anna (Hoskins) Zeigler. She was a 1933 graduate of Natoma High School.

She married Arthur Guy Pfortmiller on Dec. 7, 1937, in Natoma. He preceded her in death Nov. 18, 1989. She worked for the city of Natoma.

Survivors include a son, David Pfortmiller, Delta, Colo.; a daughter, Myra Chrisler, Natoma; four granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant son.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Peace Lutheran Church; burial in Natoma City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell, with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to Peace Lutheran Church in care of the mortuary.
