Dorothy J. Reynolds

Dorothy J. Reynolds, 79, Kensington, died Friday, July 18, 2008, at Galichia Heart Hospital, Wichita.

She was born May 28, 1929, in Kirwin to John Wesley and Myrtle Edith (King) Gaines.

She married Lawrence Reynolds on June 1, 1947, in Stockton. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; three sons, Dale Reynolds, Pueblo, Colo., Dean Reynolds, Tulsa, Okla., and Darel Reynolds, Agra; three daughters, Deann Epley, Fullerton, Neb., Darla Van Matre, Cedar, and Debra Saia, Mulberry; a sister, Jane Elder, Wichita; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and eight step-great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg; burial in Kirwin Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m until time of service Tuesday, both at the chapel.

Memorials are suggested to Kirwin United Methodist Church, or Kensington Fire Department in care of the chapel.
