Patricia Kreutzer, 72, Hays, died Saturday, June 27, 2009, at St. John's of Hays.

She was born July 22, 1936, in Victoria, to Otto and Ottilia (Graf) Brungardt.

She married Wilfred Kreutzer on April 28, 1956, in Victoria. She was a former cook at Roosevelt School, Hays.

She was a member of St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church, Hays.

Survivors include her husband, of the home in Hays; a son, Kevin Kreutzer and wife, Marla, Overland Park; two daughters, Sue Stephens and husband, Gerard, Hays and Karla Kreutzer, Wichita; a brother, Leroy Brungardt, El Reno, Okla.; five sisters, Henrietta Rohr, Littleton, Colo., Amelia Jacobs, Rita Wolf, and Bettie Hutchens, all of Hays and Lillian Herrman, Goddard; and three grandchildren, Derrick Stephens, Danny Stephens and Katie Kreutzer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Peter Brungardt; four sisters, Armella Brungardt, Alma Herrman, Barbara Brungardt and Creda Arendt.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church, Hays; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, both at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 20th and Pine.

A vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Cancer Council of Ellis County, Hospice of Hays Medical Center, or DSNWK in care of the funeral home.
