Neolah A. Wasinger, 82, Hays, died Sunday, June 28, 2009, at Hays Good Samaritan Center.

She was born April 4, 1927, in Plainville to Bernhard and Pauline (Adams) Becker.

She married Edwin H. Wasinger on May 22, 1954, in Plainville. He preceded her in death Nov. 17, 2005. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Wasinger and wife, Becky, and Richard Wasinger and wife, JoAnn, all of Hays; three daughters, Virginia Hammerschmidt and husband, Tom, Salina, Regina Hammerschmidt and husband, Francis, and Becky Kuhn and husband, Terry, all of Hays; a daughter-in-law, Karen Avery, Wamego; three brothers, Alfred Becker and wife, Eleanor, Louis Becker and wife, Kate, and Norman Becker, all of Plainville; a sister, Hildegard Dreiling, Plainville; 20 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Roger Wasinger; two sisters, Bonnie Bollig and Laurene Rempe; and an infant brother, Leland Becker.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Hays; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, both at Cline's Mortuary of Hays, 1919 E. 22nd, Hays, KS 67601.

A Prepetual Eucharistics Aduration rosary will be at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Building Fund, Hays Good Samaritan Center-New Dimensions Alzheimer's Unit or Masses in care of the mortuary.
