Mildred Irene Mesmer, 94, Kimball, Neb., died Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, at Kimball County Manor, Kimball.
She was born Aug. 24, 1914, in Norton to John and Olive (Horning) Horesky. She attended Norton schools and graduated high school.
She married Alan Mesmer on Sept. 25, 1937, in Oberlin. He preceded her in death. She worked at Panhandle Community Services and the Kimball Bakery.
Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Bright, Kimball; three sisters, Grace Buchanan, Florida; Mabel Sanderson, West Virginia, and Evlynn Sanborn, Almena; and a grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Enfield Funeral Home, Norton; burial in Norton Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Memorials are suggested to Kimball Presbyterian Church in care of the funeral home.
