Mildred Helena Tacha
Mildred Helena (Allen) Tacha, 96, Oberlin, died Thursday, July 31, 2008.
She was born Aug. 20, 1911, in Hoxie to John and Katherine (Baier) Allen.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, John Tacha, Lawrence; a daughter, Kay Brown, Jennings; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius "Punch" Tacha, and a great-great-grandson.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 19 at Jennings United Methodist Church; inurnment in Jennings Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Memorials are suggested to the church or Cedar Living Center in care of Pauls Funeral Home, Oberlin.
