Marvin Kriley
Marvin Kriley, 60, Plainville, died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008.
He was born May 10, 1948, in Hays to Harold and Lucille (Frigon) Kriley.
He was a 1966 graduate of Stockton High School and Beloit Technical College in mechanics.
He married Ellie Knipp on June 6, 1970, in Zurich. He was a city mail carrier and a clerk in Plainville Post Office for more than 35 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Troy, Plainville; a daughter Amy Townsend, Johnstown, Colo.; a brother, Don Kriley, Windermere, Fla.; a sister, Janice Kelly, Phillipsburg; a half-sister, Pat Bangert, Brighton, Colo.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Plainville; burial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Moore-Overlease Funeral Chapel, Plainville.
A Ladies Guild rosary will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the chapel.
A vigil will be at 6 p.m. Friday at the chapel.
Memorials are suggested to Hays Medical Center Hospice in care of the funeral chapel.
