Lucile Robben, 91, Walker, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008, at St. John's Health Care Center, Victoria.

She was born Jan. 30, 1917, in Catherine to Paul A. and Regina (Denning) Schmidt.

She married Alvin Robben on Oct. 24, 1938, in Catherine. He preceded her in death April 22, 1990. She was a homemaker and cook at Walker Air Base and Walker Grade School.

She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, St. Ann's Christian Mothers, both of Walker, and Daughters of Isabella, Victoria.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers, Alvin P. Schmidt, Lawrence A. Schmidt, Victor P. Schmidt and Patrick J. Schmidt; and two sisters, Pauline Moore and Isabel Schmidt-Glenn.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Ann Catholic Church, Walker; burial in St. Ann Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday, both at Cline's Mortuary of Hays, 1919 E. 22nd, Hays, KS 67601.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, followed by a St. Ann's Christian Mothers and Victoria Daughters of Isabella rosary at 7:30 p.m., both at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to St. Ann Catholic Church, Sisters of St. Joseph, Concordia, or Masses in care of the mortuary.
