Lucile Eller, 93, McPherson, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at The Cedars, McPherson.

She was born March 5, 1915, in Marvin to Ray Dexter and Sarah Jane (Olds) Thorton. She was a 1933 graduate of Speed High School.

She married Sollie Louis Eller on Oct. 28, 1936, in Norton. He preceded her in death Feb. 9, 1994. She was a nurse's assistant at Phillips County Hospital.

Survivors include three sons, Larry Eller, Cave Junction, Ore., Sollie Dee Eller, Russell, and Jerry Eller, Payson, Ariz.; a daughter, Roseanna Eller, Edmond, Okla.; a step-daughter, June Van Dyke, Plainville; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Jane, and a grandson.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Stockham Family Funeral Home, McPherson; graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.

Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, with family present from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Meals on Wheels or Juvenile Diabetis Research Foundation in care of the funeral home.
