INMAN - Keith S. Anderson, 80, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2009, at Promise Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, KS. He was born October 6, 1929 in Cloud County, KS, the son of Millard and Lottie Parker Anderson. He had served in the Army Reserves. He had worked for Associates Finance in Salina, Topeka, Russell, Concordia and Hayes. Later he worked at the bank in Hays. After moving to Inman in 1986 he worked for Bank of Inman until he retired. He had operated an insurance business in Inman. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson and the Inman Lions Club. He had served on South Central Kansas Library Board, Northwest Developmental Services, Hays, many banking associations boards, and on the administrative board of various churches.
On May 18, 1952, he married Phyllis J. Bell at Abilene, KS. She survives.
Other survivors include his children: Susan Williams and husband Kent of El Dorado, KS, Cathy Pfeifer and husband Charles of Wichita, Donna Collene of Lenexa, KS; his sister Leona Payeur of Clyde, KS 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m., with family greeting friends from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Buhler Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, November 2, 2009 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Hutchinson with Reverend Jeff Prothro presiding. Graveside Services will be at 3 p.m., Monday, November 2, 2009 at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Clyde, KS with Pastor Jim Bell presiding.
