Janet Marie Rodda
Janet Marie Rodda, 46, Abilene, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, at Memorial Hospital, Abilene.
She was born Oct. 13, 1961, in Colby to Arthur and Julia (Mumm) Feldt. She was a graduate of Wheatland High School. She earned a licensed practical nursing degree from Colby Community College and a registered nurse degree from Fort Hays State University.
She married Rick Rodda on May 24, 1986, in Park. She was a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; a daughter, Amie Rodda, of the home; four brothers, Ron Feldt, Minneapolis, Larry Feldt, Lenora, Chuck Feldt, Colby, and Joe Feldt, Hoisington; a twin brother, Jim Feldt, Abilene; and three sisters, Linda Laevenstien, Hoxie, Mary Sclensky, Hays, and Judy Smith, Odgen.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday a St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Abilene; burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Family will receive friends until 7 p.m. Friday, following a rosary at Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home, Abilene. The casket will be closed.
A rosary will be at 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to Janet Rodda Memorial Cancer Fund or scholarship fund in care of the funeral home.
