Jane Robben, 57, McPherson, formerly of Hays, died Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, at Wesley Medical Center.

She was born April 28, 1951, in Hays to Edward J. and Leona (Schumacher) Dreiling. She attended Hays grade schools. She was a 1969 graduate of Marian High School and attended Fort Hays State College.

She married James Robben on Oct. 29, 1977, in Hays. She was human services assistant for McPherson's SRS office.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two daughters, Jackie Robben, Los Angeles, and Jamie Robben, Denver; two brothers, Dennis Dreiling and Stanley Dreiling, both of Hays; and two sisters, Donna Linenberger, Wichita, and Nancy Basel, Lincoln, Neb.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, McPherson; private burial at convenience of family.

Friends can call from noon to 1:20 p.m. Saturday at the church.

A rosary will be at 1:20 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to McPherson County Humane Society, McPherson, or Community Thankgiving Inc. in care of Glidden-Ediger Funeral Home, McPherson.
