Ronald D. Jackson

Ronald D. Jackson, 81, Glade, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, at Phillips County Hospital, Phillipsburg.

He was born May 27, 1917, in Phillips County to Wayne J. and Olive T. (Crawner) Jackson.

He married Robin S. Larkin on Oct. 10, 1953, in Kensington. He collected and repaired clocks. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; three daughters, Georgia Jackson, Louisville, Ky., Cindy Jackson, Phoenix and Lori Jackson-Thurman, Archie, Mo.; a sister, Joyce McClure, Speed; and a grandson.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg; burial in Marvin Cemetery, Glade, with military honor.

Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until time of service Wednesday, both at the chapel.

Memorials are suggested to Glade United Methodist Church or Phillips County EMS in care of the chapel.
