Hayden Michelle Carpenter

Hayden Michelle Carpenter, died Thursday, June 25, 2009, shortly after birth at Hays Medical Center.

Survivors include her parents, Scott and Michelle (Andregg) Carpenter, of the home; a sister, Brianna Andregg, of the home; a brother, Alex Carpenter, of the home; her grandparents, Tom and Beverly Carpenter, Stockton and Janet Andregg, Ketchican, Alaska; and her great-grandparents, Jack and Juanita Andregg, Hoxie, Ralph and Mary Carpenter, Pottsboro, Texas and Ruby White, Sharon Springs.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Virgel White; and her great-grandmother, Ethel Hamilton.

Private graveside services will be in the Hoxie Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. today at Moore-Overlease Funeral Chapel, Plainville.

Memorials are suggested to Rooks County Health Center in care of the funeral home.

I taught Michelle in fourth grade, and I remember her as a kind and loving student. I send my sympathy to her in the loss of a child.
