Gary Lee Evans

Gary Lee Evans, 62, Gove, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, at Gove County Medical Center Long Term Care.

He was born May 12, 1946, in Ransom to Wilbur and Viola (Holaday) Evans.

He was a farmer/rancher in Gove County.

Survivors include his mother, Quinter; and three brothers, Eugene Evans, Gove, Carl Evans, Columbia, S.C., and Darrel Evans, Quinter.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church, Quinter; burial in Baker Township Cemetery, Quinter.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Schmitt Funeral Home, Quinter.

Memorials are suggested to Tri-County Cancer Service or Quinter Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
