Eula Margaret Babcock
Eula Margaret (Daise) Babcock, 101, Sherman County, died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, at Good Samaritan Society-Sherman County, Goodland.
She was born June 27, 1907, north of Kanorado to William and Katherine (Brosnahan) Daise. She took normal training course and graduated from high school in 1926.
She married Harvey Babcock on Oct. 28, 1928, in Fairbury, Neb. He preceded her in death in 1978. She taught school 21 miles northwest of Goodland.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Juhl, Goodland; two granddaughters; and four great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Mountain time Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Goodland; burial in Goodland Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Mountain time today at Koons Chapel, Goodland.
A vigil will be at 5:30 p.m. Mountain time today at the chapel.
Memorials are suggested to OLPH Catholic Church Memorial Fund, Good Samaritan Society-Sherman County or to American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
