Edward L. Meissinger, 76, Sherman County, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008, at Goodland Regional Medical Center.
He was born July 13, 1932, in Eaton, Colo. to John and Charlotte (Bauer) Meissinger. He graduated from high school in 1950 in Galeton, Colo.
He married Florence Troudt on Aug. 5, 1951, in Greeley, Colo. She preceded him in death Feb. 19, 2006. He operated a trucking company and farmed in Sherman County.
Survivors include two sons, Stan Meissinger and Doug Meissinger, both of Goodland; two daughters, Jeanne Mann and Pam Sheldon, both of Goodland; a sister, Ella Mae Brown, Cheyenne, Wyo.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were today at First Christian Church, Goodland; burial in Goodland Cemetery.
