Darlyne V. Richards
Darlyne V. Richard, 80, Scottville, died Thursday, July 31, 2008, at Mitchell County Hospital, Beloit.
She was born March 6, 1928, in Hollis to James L. "Bill" Wallace and Melvina Dungan. She attended school in Minersville.
She married Burton Richards on Aug. 22, 1948, in Concordia. He preceded her in death June 30, 1994. She worked at Concordia Country Club.
Survivors include a son, Tony Richards, Scottsville; a sister, Loretta Michaud, Olathe; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Kiser.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, Concordia; burial in Scottsville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at the chapel.
Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society in care of the chapel.
