Darlene E. Barnett
Darlene E. (Thieler) Barnett, 77, Atwood, died Saturday, July 12, 2008.
She was born March 29, 1931, in Denver to Earl and Ruth (Shulte) Thieler.
She married Keith Barnett on June 6, 1949, in Rexford. She was a secretary at Prairie Developmental Center and Rawlins County Extension.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; three sons, Dennis Barnett, Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Bill Barnett, Denver, and Mike Barnett, Hays; his step-mother, Lula Thieler, Colby; a sister, Betty Carswell, Rexford; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church, Atwood; inurnment in Fairview Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Darlene Barnett Memorial Fund in care of Pauls Funeral Home, Oberlin.
