Connie L. Davis, 56, Utica, formerly of Houston, died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
She was born May 6, 1953, in Lima, Ohio.
She was a relief postmaster at Utica Post Office.
She married Mark Davis on Nov. 10, 1993, in Dallas.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; a daughter, Pamela Thistlethwaite, Utica; her mother, Lois Layton, Ransom; and a sister, Sandra Spring, Houston.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church, Utica; burial in Utica Cemetery.
Visitation will be until 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, both at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City.
Memorials are suggested to Colorado Christian Home in care of the funeral home.
I only knew her briefly in Texas but know how much her daughter, Mark and her sister loved her. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Our community will miss a great lady and person -- she was a part of everyone with her cheery smile and laugh. We know she is baking cakes like crazy in Heaven right now!
