Barbara Jeanne Young
Barbara Jeanne (Fellers) Young, 71, Wichita, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, in Wichita.
She was born June 12, 1937, in Hays to Edmond and Florence (Tichenor) Fellers.
She married Richard (Dick) Young on April 3, 1958, in Hays. She was a kindergarten teacher in the Wichita school district at Rea Woodman, Kelly and Pleasant Valley for 34 years.
Survivors include a son, Richard Young, Wichita; her mother, Hays; two brothers Douglas Fellers, Hays, and Ed Fellers, Overland Park; and a sister, Beth Britton, Williams, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula Elaine.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary, Wichita.
Memorials are suggested to Inter-Faith Ministries in care of the mortuary.
