Wild West Fest changes concert lineup

The Saturday night concert at Wild West Festival has changed.

Tommy James and the Shondells have canceled their performance due to the hospitalization of James' wife, festival committee members learned Tuesday afternoon.

The committee has booked Davy Jones of the 1960s group The Monkees in James' place.

Jones will perform at 9:30 p.m. on the main stage at the festival grounds located in Municipal Park at south Main Street. Opening acts will be local groups the Moody Hooters at 6:30 p.m. and Jimmy Dees and the Fabulous Destinations at 7:30 p.m.
