West Sixth sees most damage from vandalism

More than a dozen properties in Hays were damaged recently by vandals, police say.

The 13 cases of criminal damage occurred throughout town, but most of the damage happened along West Sixth Street.

The incidents are believe by the police to be related and to have occurred between Thursday evening and Friday morning.

Hays Police Lt. Ron Rounkles of the Hays Police Department said the suspects are believed to have fired a pellet gun from a moving vehicle.
