Pigeon meeting scheduled
The public is invited to a meeting to discuss on possible solutions to pigeon overpopulation in downtown Hays at 8 a.m. Tuesday at the Hays Arts Center, 112 E. 11th St.
Falcons, work very well. For long term use. When you get some eggs, and hatch them out in the tallest building you got, they come back every year, to the same place. They return to thier "home" every year. This method has been put into use in many city's, with good results. Great project, for a student at the univesity. Were I live they have cmaera points at the nest, all spring and summer, so we can see what's happening. And pigeon's are like popcorn for falcon's. They love to catch them and eat them. And it's a great site, to see the falcons swooping around, catching pigeons
