The Hays High School girls' tennis team will have just one senior, Bobbi Ehrlich, on its 2008 squad. The Indians, coached by Chris Channell, also Hays High's boys' and girls' swimming coach, will have just four juniors and three sophomores next to 12 freshmen.
The team, which opened at Cimarron last Thursday, will have its only home meet of the season Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Hays High and city courts.
HHS will have seven meets before the Western Athletic Conference Championships at Garden City on Oct. 6, the Class 5A regional on Oct. 9 and Class 5A state on Oct. 17-18.
