Hays High draws home game for South Central Regional

The Hays High School girls' soccer team drew the No. 4 seed in South Central Regional 3 at Saturday's seeding meeting for the Class 5-1A State Championships.
After a bye win for the regional, Hays High improves to 13-4 and will play the winner of Monday's game at Great Bend against the No. 9 seed Panthers (7-9) and No. 16 seed Towanda-Circle (2-12-2). Hays High will be at home Tuesday in 4 p.m. match at the HHS field.
If Hays High wins Tuesday, it would play again 6 p.m. Thursday at Friends University's field in Wichita, most likely against against No. 3 seed Wichita/Kapaun Mt. Carmel (14-2).
