Senior linebacker Thomas Rohleder scooped up a fumble and raced 42 yards into the end zone for the go-ahead touchdown to lift the Hays High School football team to a 24-10 homecoming win over Wichita South Friday night at Lewis Field Stadium.
The Indians (4-1) got a 50-yard touchdown pass from Kelton Rule to Logan Downing and Shane Bixenman's 40-yard field goal at the gun for a 10-10 halftime tie with the Titans (1-4).
After Rohleder's score early in the fourth quarter, the Indians added a touchdown midway through the period on a 20-yard pass from Rule to Bryant Bombardier.
