PRATT -- The Thomas More Prep-Marian football team scored on its opening drive, getting a 26-yard field goal from senior Clint Taylor, but the Pratt Greenbacks took over from there.
Pratt scored on five of its first six possessions, and held the Monarchs scoreless until the fourth quarter, claiming a 52-11 Mid-State Activities Association win on Friday night.
Pratt scored 52 unanswered and led 31-3 at halftime. TMP-Marian (2-3 overall, 1-2 MSAA) scored its touchdown in the fourth quarter on a 13-yard touchdown pass from Andrew Heimann to Keith Gustin. Heimann was backup for Sean Conway, who left the game in the second half. In relief, Heimann completed 4-of-5 passes for 68 yards and the lone Monarch score. Heimann connected with Gustin on the two-point conversion.
Pratt moved to 4-1 on the year and 2-1 in the MSAA.
